New Ideas - Blackwork in Colour – E

Another new course introducing the concept of colour to a technique usually worked in monochrome. You will paint a background colour onto linen and then transfer the design to the fabric. Colour will be introduced by working blackwork stitches in coloured stranded cottons. The emphasis will be on shading using both the pattern and the colour of the threads. An ideal class to explore the use of colour and stitches.
