Hampton Court Palace is located next to the River Thames to the south west of London. It is within the M25 and about 6 miles from the start of the M3 and about 8 miles from the start of the M4. Look out for the brown attraction signs that direct you to Hampton Court Palace. The Royal School of Needlwork is situated on the East Front of the Palace and over-looks the Formal Gardens and Long Water.
By car: Hampton Court Palace is located on the A308 and is well signposted from all the major local roads; drivers should follow the brown tourist attraction road signs. From the M25 take either exit 10 on to the A307 or exit 12 on to the A308. The palace is also accessible via the A3 and then the A309.
Parking: Some parking is available at Hampton Court Palace. Parking is also available at Hampton Court train station.
By train: South West Trains run services direct from London Waterloo to Hampton Court. The journey takes only 35 minutes and the palace is a 200 metre walk across the bridge from the station. The train service passes through Wimbledon station, where the London Underground District Line begins. Hampton Court is in Travel Zone 6.

Directions within Hampton Court Palace:
Make your way down the main driveway, turn left along the walled path called Moat Lane and follow signs for the East Front and Formal Gardens. Walk through the Wilderness Gardens, through the walled archway (ticket office on your left). Turn right and make your way to the wrought iron gates in the centre of the East Front. Entrance to the RSN is via our shop
