The RSN in Japan
From 20 November to 27 November the RSN will be holding its first exhibition in Japan as part of the UK-Japan 150 events to celebrate 150 years of trade agreements between Britain and Japan.
The exhibition will take place in Tokyo and will comprise work by current Apprentices, Graduate Apprentices and teachers and Japanese RSN Certificate holders. This event is sponsored by the British Council.
The Knitting and Stitching Show
The Knitting and Stitching Show 2008 once again has an incredibly strong line up of top textile artists on show. Whether your favourites are Jan Beaney and Jean Littlejohn, John Allen with his magical exhibiton of carpets for the wall and mixed media inspired by Nepalese culture or the beautiful stumpwork by Barbara and Roy Hirst these are just a few of the wonderful galleries on offer. The RSN Graduate Apprentices will be showcasing their course work at the Harrogate Knitting and Stiching Show.
Hand and Lock Embroidery Conference, Fashion Show & Prize Giving 2008
After the success of last year's conference: Embroidery...the future, held in the Sydney Powerhouse Museum, Hand & Lock is proud to announce its second International Conference.

RSN Friends only events
Evening Reception for local Friends - RSN Friends who live in Surrey and Middlesex are invited to a special evening reception here at Hampton Court Palace on Monday 10 November between 6pm and 8.30pm.
Meet the Chief Executive at the Harrogate Knitting and Stitching Show - regional Friends are invited to join Dr Susan Kay-Williams on Thursday 20 November at 3pm at the International Halls, Harrogate for tea and cake and an opportunity for questions about the RSN's work.
