Become an RSN Friend or Life Friend
The RSN Friends make a vital contribution in supporting our on-going development. We would not be able to continue our work in keeping the tradition of hand embroidery alive without this regular support.
- UK Friend £30.00 per annum
- International Friend £45.00 per annum
- Life Friend (one-off payment) £600.00
- Concessionary Life Friend (over 60, one-off payment) £450.00
What support from the Friends could help us to do:
- Ensure we continue to train students to the highest standards
- Plan and develop the future of the RSN
- Enable RSN Collection items to be researched, restored and recorded
- Support the preparation of RSN Collection items prior to display at exhibitions
Friends' Membership offers the following benefits:
- Two newsletters annually
- An annual tour/invitation to view part of the RSN's Collection at Hampton Court Palace (a cost is charged)
- Advance notification of any public exhibitions of parts of the RSN Collection
- 10% discount on selected RSN courses and events
- Advance information about courses, events and exhibitions organised by the RSN
- 10% discount on items purchased from the online or RSN shop
- The opportunity to attend special Friends-only visits to textile events or collections
- Monthly eNewsletter for news updates if an email address is supplied
In addition, Life Friends will receive
- an invitation to an RSN event in the year of joining
How to join the Friends
To join the Friends please complete the application form (see link above) to pay online or send it to the RSN together with a sterling cheque or your debit/credit card details. Friends' annual subscriptions are renewable on 1 January each year.
For annual membership payment by Direct Debit is the most effective method, as this saves administrative time and costs. Simply complete the Direct Debit form.
