Gold Circle

<< back

Gold Circle £5,000.00 per annum

Goldwork has always been reserved for the most exceptional pieces. Gold thread comes in a variety of weights and thicknesses and learning the names of all the checks, purls and twists is like learning another language. The RSN has been responsible for the design and embroidery of coronation regalia for every British monarch from Edward VII to our current Queen, our Patron.  Her Majesty's coronation train was worked in 18 varieties of gold thread by a team of 12 embroiderers around the clock for three months. On a smaller scale, the RSN embroiders the ceremonial gloves for each Lord Chancellor.
