Directions to Hampton Court Palace

By train: There is a half hourly service from London Waterloo to Hampton Court Station. The Palace is a few minutes walk away.

By car: Easily accessible from the M25, M4, M3 and A3, and once you are in the locality follow the 'brown heritage signs' for Hampton Court Palace. Hampton Court Palace is off the A308.

Parking: is available as follows;

  • Hampton Court Palace car park is open at 9.30am.  Current charges - £3.50 for the first 3 hours then 50p an hour after that.

  • Hampton Court Station car park - £3.40 a day, metre parking so bring some change! 5 minute walk over the bridge.
  • Hampton Court Palace are now charging to park on Hampton Court Green.  If you are at the roundabout opposite Trophy Gate, follow the A308 towards Kempton Park.  100 yards to your right is a car park opposite the Cardinal Wolsey Pub. 10 minute walk - 50p an hour.

By bus: From Kingston upon Thames to Hampton Court: Buses 111, 216 and 411 leave from outside the Bentalls Shopping Centre, opposite the John Lewis Store. From Richmond upon Thames: Bus R68.

Directions within Hampton Court Palace

Make your way down the main Palace drive, turn left along the walled path called Moat Lane and turn right at the refreshment kiosk. Follow signs for the East Front & Formal Gardens and go through walled archway. Turn right and make your way to the iron gates at the main entrance of the East Front. Entrance to the RSN is via our shop.
