The Royal School of Needlework is not responsible for accommodation and students need to make their own arrangements.
Booking & Fees - Day Classes & Special Short Courses
Please call or download the booking form. The full fee must be included with the booking. Please note that we can accept only Visa or MasterCard and there will be an additional 3% fee for credit card bookings. We are not able to accept dollar cheques. Your booking will normally be processed within one week of receipt. Please contact us if you have not heard from us after two weeks from the date of application. We will let you know immediately if the class you have applied for is already full.

Cancellation by the RSN
The RSN reserves the right to cancel any class if necessary. We will notify students who have booked as soon as possible and offer a place on another class if they wish. If preferred, a full refund will be offered.
Cancellations by Students - Day Classes & Short Courses
On receipt of a cancellation in writing class fees will be refunded only if the vacancy can be refilled. 25% of the fee paid will be charged to cover administration costs. Please note that class fees cannot be transferred from one academic year to the next.

10.00am to 4.00pm

Equipment & Materials
We suggest that you bring you own scissors, thimbles and ring frame. Ring frames can be borrowed for the duration of the class if necessary. Additional materials such as canvas, threads, wools and class kits can be purchased on the day. Ring and slate frames are also available for purchase in the classes.
Friends' Discount
The Friends of the Royal School of Needlework may claim a 10% discount on class fees where applicable. Please quote your Friends' Membership number on the booking form.
Mobile Phones
We request that mobile phones are switched off during all classes and courses.
Parking
Parking is available in Hampton Court Station car park or on Hampton Court Green on the A308 (this car park is about 10 minutes walk from the palace).
Photography
Please note that photography is not permitted. Design sources from the RSN Archive and Collections may be used for ideas and inspiration only and may not be photographed or photocopied.
Refreshments
We will provide you with morning coffee and biscuits. Lunch is not covered in the costs and we suggest that you bring your own packed lunch or visit one of the palace cafeterias. During the summer months these can be very busy and you may have to queue.
Waiting Lists
Should a class become fully booked, we will add your name to a waiting list and your fee will be returned. We will inform you if a place becomes available.
The Royal School reserves the right to make any reasonable alternations to the class programme or substitute tutors.
