A week in the life of a 1st year Apprentice

 

Monday

Beadwork with Shelley Cox

 

Tuesday

Goldwork talk by William Kentish Barnes of Golden Threads.

To work on own for the rest of the day

 

Wednesday

AM - Personal Study time at home

PM - Art Class at Richmond Community College.

 

Thursday

Group project with Anne Butcher. 

This year the project will be to design and make a wall hanging for the entrance/ reception area of Chertsey Museum.

The image to the right shows the result of the 2003 group project to design and make an Elizabethan Costume, modelled by an Apprentice!

 

 

Friday

Whitework with Jenny Adin

Covering techniques such    as Broderie Anglaise and Richelieu, Mountmellick, Shadow Work, Drawn Thread, Thread and Hardanger.
